Greg Focker wants to marry his love Pam, but he needs to make her father, the stern former CIA agent Jack Byrnes, like him first. He can do this by going to the wedding of Pam's sister. Greg tries very hard to make a good impression, but his visit to the Byrnes house is a hilarious mess of mishaps. Everything that can go wrong does, all while Jack watches with a critical, hawk-like eye.
